Mission & Topics

The workshop aims to bring together researchers from universities and research labs of Russia and Japan to discuss the state of the art for instability process, turbulence, and other fluid dynamics related problems simulations and supercomputer modeling. It will focus on relevant numerical methods and supercomputing technologies, on the analysis of such methods and technologies, and on the modeling of complex fluid dynamics problems, which is essential for research dealing with understanding mechanisms of instability appearance and development, turbulent transport in various hydro- gas dynamics processes.

Topics

  • advanced numerical methods
  • high-accurate numerical schemes
  • effective parallel algorithms
  • direct numerical simulation
  • turbulence modeling
  • gas dynamics modeling
  • incompressible flow methods
  • multiphase flows
  • turbulent boundary layers
  • heat conduction modeling
  • geophysics modeling
  • biomechanics modeling
